Prep: A 2009 graduate of Carson High School in California…lettered three years in volleyball and two years in basketball…named to the Volleyball magazine Fab-50 list…ranked the No. 37 top player on the prepvolleyball.com Senior Aces list…averaged 4.30 kills and 3.00 blocks per set during her senior season, hitting an amazing .647…named team MVP in volleyball all three years…earned Freshman of the Year honors in basketball in 2005…also played on the Mizuno Long Beach club team.
 
Personal: Born in Torrance, Calif…has one brother and one sister…cousin Gus Tuaniga is currently on the Hawai‘i men’s volleyball team…parents are Mel and Kel Tuaniga of Carson, Calif.

Prior to UH: Played two seasons at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, Calif…helped Saint Mary’s reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2009 and the first round in 2008…named to the West Coast Conference Honorable Mention team in 2009...named WCC Player of the Week on October 5...recorded 10 or more kills 10 times this year...notched a career-high 18 kills on September 13 against San Diego State... against UC Santa Barbara in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament she recorded five kills on 31 attempts, for a .290 hitting percentage, with a season high five digs...against No. 4 Stanford in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament she recorded 11 kills on 36 attempts...finished the year third on the team with 251 kills, averaging 2.56 kills per set...averaged 2.70 points per set…named to the 2008 West Coast Conference All-Freshman Team...finished her freshman season with 10 kills in her first ever post season appearance in the NCAA tournament...played in 84 sets while averaging 2.39 kills, 0.65 blocks, and a .195 attack percentage as a freshamn ...in her freshman season she accumulated 201 kills, 37 blocks, and 55 digs.
 
Prep: A 2008 graduate of Word of Life Academy in Honolulu, O‘ahu…a four-year letterwinner in volleyball and three-year letterwinner in track and field…led her team to multiple titles, including an ILH Division II Championship in 2006...as a senior led her team to the Hilo High Pre-Season Tournament title, while also clinching the ‘Aiea High Pre-Season Tournament title as a junior...following her senior and junior seasons she was named to the HHSAA Division II State All-Tournament Team, was an All-State Selection by the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and Honolulu Advertiser, and was a two-time IHL Division II Player of the Year...in 2006 was named the Word of Life Academy Athlete of the Year.
 
Personal: Born in Wahiawa, O‘ahu...parents are LeeAnn and Alvis Satele...Alvis played football at the University of Hawai‘i and had stints in the NFL and CFL...her mother LeeAnn (Pestana) was a member of the University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine volleyball teams that won NCAA Championships in 1982 and '83...brothers Brashton and Liko currently play football at UH…is the cousin of former Warriors Samson and Hercules Satele, and Melila Purcell.
