Sports Hall of Fame Inductee, Lem Galea'i 2010 Idaho State University
Lem Galea'i-Football, 1981-1983
Lem Galeai was the leading tackler on ISU’s 1981 Division I-AA national championship football team. Although the team was known as the “Throwin’ Idahoans”
… its hallmark was defense. As a linebacker, Galeai made 154 tackles and had five tackles for loss. He was also the leading tackler on the 1983 team that had an
8-4 record and advanced to the I-AA playoffs… earning first-team All-Big Sky Conference honors. In his career, he made a total of 347 tackles… 12 tackles for loss
… 17 pass deflections and two interceptions. Lem was also a standout in the classroom, earning All-Big Sky Conference All-Academic. He graduated from ISU with
a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance in 1985.
