Is it time for the Seahawks to trade Lofa Tatupu?  If you look at the play of Tatupu the last few years you can tell he has lost a step and you can see he might lose that second step soon.  If the Seahawks have any thoughts of trading Tatupu this would be the time to do it.  His trade value is still high and the Seahawks could get a nice mid round draft pick for him.

Tatupu has been a pro bowler 3 times in his career, but injuries have taken their toll on the former USC Trojan.   You can really tell on the field Tatupu is past his prime and the Seahawks need to replace him soon or else the defense will continue to struggle with him as the leader.

If the Seahawks feel like Tatupu still has some years left in him then I think they will be missing the boat on getting a decent pick for him. The Seahawks are looking to build from the draft and by trading Tatupu they look to get a pick, plus they will get rid of his huge yearly salary that the Seahawks signed him to back in 2008.
