#19 Pisila TukiaPosition: MB Height: 5-10 Class: Senior Hometown: Phoenix, AZ High School: Tempe HS 2009: Played in 24 matches, starting 18. Finished the year with 97 kills and finished third on the team with 248 total blocks.  2008: Started for the Swords. Averaged 1.11 kills per game. Finished second on the team in blocks with 0.65 blocks per game.  Previous College: Averaged 2.031 kills, 1.25 digs per game for Coach Venese Hiapo at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. The Coyotes finished the year 17-15.  High School: A three-sport standout for the Buffaloes of Tempe High. Averaged 10 points a game on the girl’s varsity basketball team and was named both volleyball and basketball team MVP. Also finished fifth in the state while competing in Track and Field. Pisila was also a National Honor Society member and served as the Tempe High School Student Body President in 2007. Personal: The daughter of Peti and Sione Tukia, Pisila was born in Phoenix, AZ. One of four children, Pisila has one brother, Sunia and two sisters, Jane and Stella.
