As of right now here is where it stands:
THOMAS TUTOGI #3 (Chula Vista HS) - After only ONE SEMESTER AT SOUTHWESTERN THOMAS has been offered at University of Washington, USC, University of Arizona and UNLV. Rutgers University from New Jersey has also been recruiting TUTODI. The head coaches from Washington, USC and UNLV will all be visiting their home this week.
RAMSEY IAPALA #9 (Sweetwater HS) - RAMSEY is limited to Division II football because his Division I clock has expired. Division IITusculum University in Tenn (the oldest private university in Tennesee) has offered RAMSEY a FULL SCHOLARSHIP. This is a rare offer. Division II schools usually split scholarships because they only have 35 scholarships by comparison to 85 for Division I. It is a scholarship worth 27,500.00. Tusculum is unique in that they are on a "BLOCK" schedule. Students take ONE CLASS at a time for 13 days. They complete 5 classes in a semester. Western Washington is also in the running.
AARON LAZARO #48 (Otay Ranch HS) - AARON has been offered an Official Visit (the college that invites you pays for your entire trip) to Division I AA Charleston Southern University. University of Massachusetts visited on Friday with AARON and will return in January to talk to the 6'5, 300 lbs DL. AARON is a May / Summer Grad. Division II independent Lindenwood University Head Coach Pat Ross will be visiting campus next week to talk with AARON.
ANDREW GRIMES #88 (Bonita Vista HS) - ANDREW, a freshman WR that led the conference in receptions is drawing interest from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo who is looking for a true wide receiver. ANDREW is a HS qualifier that did a rare double this fall... a full time student at both SOUTHWESTER and SDSU.
ROB JONES #6 (Barstow HS) - Heart of America Conference Central Methodist-will offer ROB this week or early next week, Southern Nazarene-might trip and offer within a week, Missouri Valley- may offer soon... ST. MARY'S Kansas visited this week as did KANSAS WESLYAN head coach Dave Dallas.
MELVIN JOHNSON #69 (Helix HS) - Central Methodist- will be offered a great scholarship full tuition paid and a little more offer this week, Southern Nazarene- trip and offer in a week he will get full tuition here too, Missouri Valley- committed to beating CMU's offer
TAMA HUGO (Tafuna HS / American Samoa) #43 - Will be offered tonight, the head coach is going to make him an Eagle and he is good to go with them in January, Virginia Southern showed some interest. he will join JEFF KAISA ( Nu’uuli Ploy-Tech HS AMERICAN SAMOA), First Team All Conference WR BRAD CARTER (Granite Hills HS) and Second Team All Conference WR ERIC CARRILLO (Steele Canyon HS).
RYON WHITE (Hoover HS) #79- A giant freshman at 6'9, 320 lbs WHITE is a popular guy with Central Methodist, Southern Nazarene, Missouri Valley, Virginia Southern, Ottowa. WHITE will earn his AA degree this semester.
CHRISTIAN ESPIRITU (San Ysidro HS) #78 - Southern Nazarene will be offered, Missouri Valley, Ottowa, St. Mary's, also Kansas Weslyan. At 6'7, 350 lbs he is drawing a lot of interest at the DII level as well. CHRISTIAN will have his AA degree in May. He can also return to SWC to play his sophomore season.
JACOB COOGAN (Mater Dei HS) #12 - Freshman starting safety JAKE COOGAN (another high school qualifier) will transfer to SDSU in the spring semester and will walk on with the AZTECS. If things don't work out he will return to play with SWC.
DEROLD WALLS (Otay Ranch HS) #71 - The sophomore OL / two year starter has received interest from DI AA Western Michigan and numerous DII schools.
OWEN BREEDEN (Eastlake HS) #75 - A high school qualifier OWEN visited with DI AA Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this past week.
CHESTER RADOC (Eastlake HS) #53 - The sophomore long snapper is being looked at by St. Mary's Kansas and Lindenwood University.
LUIS BURGOIN (Otay Ranch HS) #38 - Sophomore RB is being looked at by Midland Lutheran University.
Luis Burgoin- Midland Lutheran "I know what?" He has to send a highlight and transcripts
RICARDO FELIX (Chula Vista HS) #72 - Will be visited by NAIA Ottowa university this week.
