2009-10: Averaged 8.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists a game last season as DSC's sixth man... his 1.8 assist/turnover ratio was near the top of the Pac West... Shined in front of his hometown fans scoring 16 points at Cal State, Dominguez Hills... had 11 games with 10 or more points... Named to Pac West Top 10 twice

Cerritos College (2007-09): Started 18 of 29 games for the Falcons last season as a sophomore… Averaged 6.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists… Team finished 16-13 and lost in the 2nd round of the California JC State Championships… In his freshman year, appeared in 30 games and averaged 3.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists a game… Converted 37-of-102 (.363) field goals… Scored a season-high 12 points against PalomarCollegeand also scored nine points against VenturaCollege… Also scored seven points and added a season-high six rebounds against CosumnesRiverCollege…



Los Altos HS: Attended El Camino College out of high school, but did not play basketball… Was a four-time All-Miramonte League selection and was the Team Captain each year… Averaged 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds a game as a senior after contributing 13 points, four rebounds and four assists as a junior… Averaged 12 points, six assists and five rebounds his sophomore season… Also spent two seasons on the track and field team…..



Personal: Best memory at DSC - getting his teeth knocked out during practice and winning conference... Most memorable sports moment was signing with Dixie State out of Cerritos College… Aspires to get a master's in Spanish and become a coach… Likes to spend time with family (especially his grandma), babysit and text message in his spare time… Fact you may not know – he is half Samoan and speaks fluent Spanish… Nicknamed “Miah”…Is the son of Lilo & Herman Barnes...
