Tufaga Notes: A very good passer who will make a big difference ... played outside hitter at the junior college level so she played all of the time and all the way around ... a nice athlete with very good ball control skills ... how she adjusts to the speed of the game will depend on how ready she is.

Before Utah: Played two seasons at Sheridan College and had 2.02 kills per set last season for the Generals. In 2009, she played in 78 sets and averaged .45 service aces per set during, which ranked 41st in the nation.

High School/Club: Lettered for four years ... played a variety of positions (outside hitter, right-side hitter and defensive specialist) ... head coach was Uila Vendiola ... earned honorable mention all-state recognition in both the 2007 and 2008 seasons ... led her team to the Oahu Interscholastic Association title in 2008 ... played club volleyball with the NorthShore Volleyball Club and the Team 808 Hawaii Volleyball Club ... honor roll candidate during each of her four years of high school.

Personal: Intends to major in pre-exercise and sport science ... born Aug. 15, 1991 ... daughter of Lima and So'o Tufaga ... has three siblings: Tuika, So'o and Wes ... Wes played football at Utah from 1997-2000.
