2009: Had another tremendous season for the Golden Eagles as a junior. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Was fifth on the team in kills with 172 and second on the team in blocks with 83. Also led the team in service aces with 36. Missed the team’s first seven matches because of injury. Team was 4-3 without her and 19-6 with her in the lineup. Was sensational in NCAA playoff match against Sonoma State, pounding down a career-high 18 kills with a hitting percentage of .615. Also had three blocks in the match. Was named to the NCAA Division II West Regional All-Tournament team. Had 10 kills with a hitting percentage of .769 against Cal State Stanislaus on Nov. 11 and had nine kills, a hitting percentage of .769 and a career-high seven blocks against Chico State on Nov. 14 to earn CCAA Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career. Tied a program record with nine service aces against Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 6. Also had six service aces in her first match of the season, at Humboldt State on Sept. 9.
 
2008: Enjoyed an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and was named the team’s Most Improved Player. Had her best match of the year in NCAA Division II playoff match against UC San Diego on Nov. 20, posting nine kills with a hitting percentage of .412 and contributing five blocks as well. Both equaled season highs. Also had nine kills with a hitting percentage of .538 in late-season contest at Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 14 and had five kills and three blocks with a hitting percentage of .364 in playoff match against Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 21. Was fourth on the team in kills with 128, third in blocks with 52 and sixth in digs with 130.

At Carson High School: Earned scholar-athlete recognition at her school and by the Marine League. Was the team’s Most Valuable Player and the league’s Co-MVP and also earned first-team All-League, first-team All-South Bay and first-team All-City honors.
 
Personal: Daughter of Siu and Mary Laupepa. Majoring in business. Enjoys Polynesian dancing (competitive Tahitian dancing), traveling and spending time with her family. Has earned several awards in Polynesian dancing competitions with a top Tahitian group. Lists reaching the West Region finals in 2009 and making the All-Tournament team as her most exciting experiences in sports.
