1. Joshua Quezada

Biography:Joshua Quezada ran for 1,680 yards on 163 carries and scored 21 touchdowns as a 2008 junior at La Habra (Calif.). Added 21 receptions for 318 yards and three touchdowns. First Team All-Orange County, First Team All-League and First Team All-CIF. Helped La Habra to CIF-SS title. He says he can bench 335-pounds, squat 445 and has a 36-inch vertical jump.

Partial senior (11-1) stats: 1,650 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns

Quezada plans on majoring in either business administration or business marketing and reports a 3.3 core GPA and 1250 three-part SAT, which he will retake. “I’m qualified for all the schools, but Stanford says I need to get a 1450 so I’ll take it again.”

Quezada: “I’m an aggressive runner but I’m also pretty flexible. They call me ‘Thunder’ on the field because I have a lot of power and can move.

“I’ve put on a little weight so I’m trying to slim down and see if that improves my speed. I’d just like to be faster and get my forty time (4.55) down.”

Biography: As a 2009 senior, helped Eureka (Calif.) to the CIF-NCS Section title. Finished with 252 carries for 2,202 yards and 38 touchdowns.

Plays fullback and linebacker for Eureka (Calif.). As a sophomore, rushed for over 1,500 yards and 27 touchdowns on the season and was named Best Offensive Player and received the Coaches Award.

Father was a rugby star in his native Tonga.

Has a 3.5 GPA. During his 2008 junior season he had 137 tackles and five sacks. He says he can bench 285-pounds, squat 365 and has a 32-inch vertical jump.

Final senior (7-4) stats: 133 tackles, seven sacks, six fumbles caused, two blocked field goals and one blocked punt.

Fifita plans on majoring in business and reports a 3.4 core GPA and a 1300 three-part-SAT.
