Tiumalu was named to the All-Pac-10 Freshman team and was fourth on the squad with nine home runs and a .556 slugging percentage ... added a .302 batting average, 24 runs batted in, 21 walks and five doubles ... posted a .993 fielding percentage with only two errors in 286 chances ... had nine multiple-hit games and six multi-RBI contests ... tore her ACL in game two of the Gainesville Regional after posting a sacrifice fly and a single in four plate appearances ... went 3-for-8 (.375) in the Arizona series (May 6-8), recording a pair of singles in game two and hitting a two-run homer in game three ... belted solo homers in back-to-back games against Washington on April 22 and 23 ... smashed a game-tying, two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh against Stanford on April 8, going 2-for-4 with two walks ... hit a two-run homer and added a double and two runs scored on April 3 against Oregon State ... went 2-for-2 with a solo homer against Ohio on March 24 and followed that with another solo bomb in the first game of a March 29 doubleheader versus UC Santa Barbara ... walked twice in three straight games against Sacramento State (March 11), Long Beach State (March 11) and Cal State Fullerton (March 12), scoring twice versus the Titans ... was named Pac-10 Player of the Week on March 1 after hitting .625 (10-for-16) in six games with two homers, five RBI and five runs scored ... held a 12-game hitting streak from Feb. 18-March 4, batting .528 (19-for-36) with 11 RBI and a pair of homers ... went 3-for-4 with an RBI double against BYU on March 4 ... hit a walk-off, two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning against Northwestern on Feb. 27 ... posted her first three-hit game later that day versus Ohio State, driving in a pair and scoring a run ... blasted her first collegiate homer against Florida on Feb. 25, going 2-for-3 ... added two more hits, a walk and a run later that night versus Oklahoma ... reached in all three plate appearances at Cal State Northridge (Feb. 23) on a double, walk and hit by pitch, also scoring a run ... hit a walk-off single in the ninth inning against SIU Edwardsville, going 2-for-2 with two walks ... had RBI singles in a pair of contests on Feb. 19 against Utah and Portland State ... drove in a pair on a single and scored a run against Utah State (Feb. 20) ... made her first collegiate start behind the plate on Feb. 13 against San Diego State.

Tiumalu played four years of varsity softball at Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, Calif. ... named an Under Armour and ESPN Rise All-American as a senior, also earning Delta River League co-MVP and PGHS Female Athlete of the Year honors ... led all league players with 43 runs batted in as a senior and was second with seven home runs, adding a .450 batting average, 11 doubles and 27 runs scored ... received Cal-Hi Sports All-State and Sacramento Bee All-Metro accolades in each of her last three seasons ... was also named first-team, all-league every year and All-City in 2009 and '10 ... helped the Eagles to the school's first-ever Sac-Joaquin Section Division I title in 2009 and a Delta River League championship in 2010 ... hit .437 for her career with 12 homers, 116 RBI, 84 runs, 37 doubles, a .744 slugging percentage and a .540 on base percentage ... coached by J.T. Tiumalu ... also played one year of golf ... played club with California Grapettes and Sorcerer Phil.

Tiumalu ... has three younger sisters, Brianna, Kamryn and Tori ... chose to attend UCLA because it is the best school for athletics and academics and for UCLA softball's winning tradition ... thing she likes the most about softball is that the game is always a challenge and it's very competitive ... favorites include actor Channing Tatum, the New York Yankees, eating spaghetti and the movie "Love and Basketball" ... lists her biggest athletic thrill as winning Pleasant Grove's first section championship in 2009 ... favorite hobby is going to the beach ... majoring in psychology, but would like to either work for ESPN or become a college coach.
